UPS Health & Safety |
If ever I wanted the chance to be a cartoon strip
artist at GRA,
this was it.
UPS had commisioned us to provide a training series for their employees
to learn safety precautions when operating equipment, handling spills, etc.
When the producer presented a script that contained a consistent cast of characters,
we invented Murphy--the red-haired UPS employee who's fate was sealed with his
accident-prone antics; helping to exemplify what NOT to do, and reviewing the
procedures in case anything does go awry.
The other characters had roles to play too: Oscar the Operations Manager,
and Helen of Human Resources. (Scroll down for more view.)
Medium: Adobe Illustrator.
With thanks to Senior Artist Liz McCarthy
& Producer Annecia Berkley.

<Sigh>
Well, there he goes again, being Murphy and quite good at it. :~/ |
