I've not worked for any other company like this before; What an experience it gave me!

This was where I worked--a view from the cube in the corner. There was my replacement, Madhur Sharma, just over the wall to the right--and my reason for being there. Like his colleagues, this is one smart young man. He was more of a "natural" in my job role than I was. I wish you all the best, Madhur! |
Being next to the window, I opened the curtain there to see the view--it felt industrial. What struck me were the words "BLOCK B." On the balcony is a puddle left from the rains that had come out of their rainy season, which I'm told had been lighter than expected. Our building was called Accenture "Bang 3". | |

| Another view from the seventh floor new cafeteria--looking over the corner of a ledge. Shown is a portion of the city of Bangalore. | This was the new cafeteria, with another on the 8th floor as well. The decorations were from the grand opening; prior to this it was temporarily located in the basement. If I were meeting any Americans, I'd look for the tell-tale water bottle. Otherwise, eating in mixed company was always the best combination. | |

| Here's another view of the cafe. many young people there--it felt like a college campus. | While we're on the subject of eating, I took photos of a fellow resource's going away lunch given by his team. This was a small place not far from Bang 3. The folks on this team were very friendly and gracious. (Abhishek, shown leaning in from the right, helped me pronounce the Indian word for eggplant--which was handy!) | |

| Time for an Accenture night out! On the drive were some folks from the other work team, Abhisheck and Priyank--two great guys.--We were looking forward to Accenture entertainment, done from an Indian vantage point. | This is the road they were on! decorated in lights on the way to a real palace, converted to become an event venue! Wow. | |

| Here's the castle! It was lined with lots of light and decor; they spared nothing. Inside we lined up for a huge buffet. | There was a great stage where they had comedy, and displays of entertainment, costumes, dancing, and speeches for Accenture special role recognition. It was bright and colorful! Later on, I had done soem dancing myself...Madhur and Rakesh hadn't been there--at least they hadn't seen me make a fool of myself! :) |

Last but not least, I found a row of rickshaw guys lined up against the curb, parked and ready to give us rides after our huge Accenture shindig. This was taken beforehand--I thought it was a great photo-op. After all, they won first page placement! ;)
